Kara-Leah Masina extended me an invitation to guest post on her site be Conscious now. How to introduce the nature of reality to children touches on a powerful, yet simple, path to peace.
Follow the link and make sure you subscribe to her RSS feed before you leave her site. Of all the sites and blogs I read be Conscious now is certainly one of the first I get to on a daily basis.
Thank you Kara.

Children manifest their experiences, both within self and without. The Law of Attraction affects everything and everyone, every moment.
You are manifesting yourself in front of a computer right now. You have manifested the words you are reading, through me, by means of this website. You have manifested everything in your physical reality. You have manifested your body, your life situation, everything… even your children.
“Wow! I sound just like my parents…”
How many times has this realization floated to the surface of your consciousness? It’s usually because you just finished an experience with your children that left you a bit uneasy.
Probably went something like this…
“Clean your room.”
“It’s my room; I like it this way.”
“I said clean your room.”
“Why?”
“Cause I said so!”
… up floats the realization.
“The helpless humiliations of infancy are not banished from my mind. I was resentfully conscious of not being able to walk or express myself freely. Prayerful surges arose within me as I realized my bodily impotence. My strong emotional life took silent form as words in many languages. Among the inward confusion of tongues, my ear gradually accustomed itself to the circumambient Bengali syllables of my people. The beguiling scope of an infant’s mind! Adultly considered limited to toys and toes.”
Paramhansa Yogananda – Autobiography of a Yogi
What if you knew your children would remember every single day of their life…?
Right now at this moment what are your children doing…?
Are they engaging in activities that benefit them as a Human Being…? Or just passing time…
“From the forest itself, comes the handle for the axe.”
Translation… We create our ”problems”.
Pretty much explains the human experience for most of us. In defense of the forest, a human mind invented the axe… so it wasn’t completely self-inflicted as it is in our case.
Seriously can you think of one “problem” we humans have that is not self-inflicted…? I’m using the word “problem” here to get a point across. There really is no such thing. A “problem” is a non-acceptance of what is. Which means a “problem” is nothing more than what is not. Which means it really doesn’t exist…
Financial woes… obviously we could make it without the invention of currency, just look at every other species on the planet doing just fine.
Natural disasters… Mother Nature is pretty predictable. I can guarantee next year there are going to be hurricanes down in the Southern Gulf Coast. Stay away.
